Yasushi Miyashita, PhD
 Yasushi Miyashita obtained his Ph.D. at the University of Tokyo in 1977 and was a visiting Lecturer of Oxford University from 1984-85. He is currently acting as a member of the Board of Reviewing Editors of Science, Neuron, The Journal of Cognitive Neuroscience and other international journals. Dr. Miyashita delivered the Presidential Special Lecture at the 35th Society for Neuroscience Meeting in 2006. Other honors include the Hans-Lukas Teuber Memorial Lecture at MIT in 1993 and the Japan Academy Prize in 2007.
