To and From the Airport

Taxi and shuttle service are available for travel to and from the airport and your hotel. Airport Super Shuttle cost is $14 per person, one way, and shuttle service can be arranged from the shuttle booth at the airport or by phone (800-258-3826). Shuttle service to the airport is best arranged through the front desk at your hotel.

Friday Evening

All Friday evening conference activities will take place at the Holiday Inn Metrodome located just off Interstate 35W at 1500 Washington Avenue South (Hwy. 122 on the map). Parking is available in an adjacent public parking ramp or nearby campus parking lots.

Conference attendees staying at the Days Inn (2407 University Avenue) can get to the Holiday Inn by cab, foot (~30 minute walk) or via the Days Inn shuttle which leaves the Days Inn on the hour and half-hour. To reserve a space on the Days Inn shuttle, please call the front desk (612-623-3999) and let them the know the time you wish to depart and your destination (Holiday Inn Metrodome). Please also call the Days Inn front desk for pick-up after the Friday evening talk.

Saturday and Sunday

All Saturday and Sunday conference activities will take place at Coffman Memorial Union (see H on the map), 300 Washington Avenue S.E., mid-way between the Holiday Inn and Metrodome. If the weather’s nice, it’s a pleasant 15-minute walk from either hotel.

Hotel shuttle service is also available. If you are traveling from the Days Inn, please make a reservation (623-3999) for either 7:00 or 7:30 a.m. to arrive by 8:00 a.m.; from the Holiday Inn Metrodome, please call 612-333-4646 to make a reservation. You can make arrangements for free shuttle service anywhere within 3 miles of your hotel between 7 am and 10 or 11 pm.
